Angithi was launched in the year 1992 in Bhopal to celebrate the taste of Mughlai and Nawaabi dastarkhwaan with the people who are passionate about its flavour. Our name "Angithi" is the amalgamation of Urdu and Hindi language, meaning a stove in which coal and wood dust is used to cook food. Since our roots were build on Awadh's authentic recipes, we have kept the legacy of cooking food on slow flame alive, while maintaining the refinement and perfection of dishes. Angithi's food has been a form of story telling and the mughlai dishes being the memories garnishing them. Now over 30 years of celebrating our culture, we are priviliged to bring some bonafide regional recipes to transport you to the different states of this diverse country. Dishes like Laal Maas of Rajashthan, Mutton Champaran of Bihar, Chicken Vindaalu of Goa, Fish Koliwada of Maharashtra, Pateeli ke Nazuk Seekh Kebab of Awadh.
